What is Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recovery is a ministry to hurting people. It is made up of regular people like you and me, who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God's healing of life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow. They offer their stories as fellow travelers on the journey to healing.

Who can benefit from Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with the courage to be honest about life's hurts, habits and hang-ups, who are willing to open their life to healing and change.

 Do you struggle with:
Relational pain - Disappointments - Anger - Family problems - Enabling - Defeating habits - Job loss - Stress - Guilt - Abuse: verbal, sexual or physical - Depression - Divorce - Faith doubts - Loss - Serious illness - Over eating - Gambling - Pornography - Substance abuse?

If you are looking for a place to discover more about yourself, gain some help in bearing your load, and experience healing, Celebrate Recovery is for you. We want others to catch a vision for how God can take our broken pieces and use them in ways we can only imagine.

What does a typical Celebrate Recovery experience look like?
It begins with a meal where safe, supportive relationships are formed. You have opportunities to worship, learn, change and grow. Celebrate Recovery is held every Monday evening at Gun Lake Community Church .

If all your pursuits to find life and ease your pain have led to more pain and emptiness, maybe it is time to consider something else.  Join us, as together, we pursue real life in Jesus Christ and celebrate the recovery only He can bring through His people and His Word.
